For the fifth time, the König Ludwig Schloßbrauerei Kaltenberg is holding its competition for the best beer commercial at the Munich International Festival of Film Schools!

This time he will present his new commercial A GREAT IDEA.

Collin: "I'm standing next to my proud creation of a parrot!"

Collin John DCunha will arrive from India to introduce his spot TAKE OFF. He sent us a photograph of a recent event in Mumbai where he originally lives when he’s not at film school. The event invited ordinary citizens to paint anything of their choice on a wall along a road in Mumbai.

He also answered our questions on films and inspiration:

What tagline or catch phrase describes your film best?
‘The best burp in town!’

Do you remember the first movie you ever saw?
Not really but I remember being obsessed with Disney’s “Jungle Book” when I was really young.

What was the worst movie you ever saw?
See such bad ones so often …

Why do you make films? What motivates you?
Wow…think that’s all I can imagine myself to do…it makes me happy

What do you immediately associate with Munich? (except beer!)
tough one!…ARRI…BMW…Olympics!

If you come to Munich: What’s the most important thing you’ll bring with you?
…definetely my sense of humour.

How long will it take you to get to Munich?
I think around 13 hours.

The third nominated commercial is TIN-CAN TELEPHONE, directed by Claudia Heindel and Seamus Hannigan.

The films will be screened on Tuesday, November 11 at 2:30 pm and Friday, November 20 at 7:30 pm in the Munich Filmmuseum. The winners will be announced at the festival’s Awards Ceremony on Saturday, November 21.
