An invitation to dreaming: “Martina and the Moon” by Javier Loarte

07. November 2009 von praphula

“Take me to the moon!” – it’s not for the first time that lovers express their feelings that way, but maybe the first time that it is written in flour. “Martina and the Moon” unfolds a classical love story using strong, often surrealistic pictures. Resembling to a fairy tale the film takes its audience back to childhood days, when dreams about princesses and heroes had not yet been discredited by an enlightened sense of reality. Director Javier Loarte answered our questionnaire.
